FIELDWORK AT TILCO.

Pioneering UX Research Interpreting and Translation for Tech Companies

Understanding user experience is at the core of the innovation efforts of all technology companies. To gain deep knowledge of user needs in foreign languages, our clients require translators and interpreters who are experts in the field. TILCo. has the first team of interpreters and translators in Mexico that caters specifically to the field of design research, a growing need for tech companies. Whether it is a focus group session or a complex project involving in-home visits in rural areas, our team works closely with clients to help guarantee that their research efforts have the planned results.

Our experienced interpreters and translators have a very special skill set that our clients never fail to acknowledge. This is why they often ask us to take part in debriefing sessions and other meetings, rather than expecting us to limit our work to interpreting interviews. We constantly train in the art and methodologies of UX Research, because translating or interpreting for other industries is simply not the same. The demands of a research project (as all researchers know) are one of a kind.

Our team has more than 15 years of experience in this space. We have translated the screeners, discussion guides, participant diaries, analysis reports, and other materials of hundreds of successful projects. Last year alone, we got on board with our clients on more than 50 fieldwork projects, with our team interpreting in real time millions of insights from users all around Mexico (and Latin America). Our one-step Spanish into English transcription service means our clients receive transcribed interviews only in their language of choice, avoiding unnecessary steps and costs.

We complete projects efficiently and on schedule, and go above and beyond to form lasting relationships with our clients. No other team of linguists does research as we do.
